Carer Information

Are you a Carer?

Are you looking after someone?

If you look after a parent, child, young person relative, friend or neighbour who could not manage without you, because of illness, age, disability or addiction - then you are a CARER!

Tracing Carers

Your GP surgery is trying to trace all those patients who are carers and set up a carers register. This will mean that carers, like you, are known to everyone in the surgery. Then steps can be taken to make sure that you yourself get the right sort of care. There are many benefits from registering as a carer including flexible appointments, flu vaccinations, annual health check (book appointment with Practice Nurse).

Renfrewshire Carers Centre are available for an informal chat on 0141 887 3643 or drop in at Unit 55, Abbey Mill Business Centre, The Embroidery Mill, Seedhill, Paisley, PA1 1TJ

Any information you provide will be kept confidential.
