Telephone Advice may include queries about a prescription, a test result, a hospital appointment, a referral, a form that needs to be completed or advice about a minor ailment. Please call and ask the receptionist who will be able to help you.
When a patient calls and requests to speak to a GP or Nurse, the reception staff will check the availability of the GP. If the GP is available to speak to the patient that day, the receptionist will then take some information and request that the patient calls back at a time when the GP is available to speak.
If no GP is available, the receptionist will take the patients details informing them that a GP will call them back.
Please advise staff if your call is urgent and you require to speak to a GP or Nurse as soon as possible. Your details will be logged for the appropriate clinician to call you back as soon as possible.
